I am Fire, both by temperament and existence, and live in the some of the most beautiful land in the world - Alaska. I have traveled and lived around the world, and continue to be utterly consumed by wanderlust. Published Poet: Also, I write, therefore I am. I consider my duty in life to spread the joys of verbiage. my education: I went to undergraduate university close to my current home but attended post-graduate studies, in addition to teaching English as a second language to Ethiopian immigrants at the University of Haifa in Northern Israel in a highly competitive International Honors Program. Cogito Ergo Sum. Do not underestimate my intelligence. favorite hot spots: I am undeniably addicted to taste experimentation and exotic or fusion cuisine (paired with great wines or a fab beer!) Favorite travel spots I have had the great fortune to visit: Italy (both Tuscany and Southern Italy), Israel, Jordan, England, Ireland, Holland, Belgium, Austria, Czech Republic, Egypt, Spain, Greece & Greek Islands, Turkey, Germany, Bermuda Circle and lived to tell about it :), Wa-Or-Cali wine country (these are not in order of preference). I have had some unforgettable experiences - ask about it and we'll swap travel stories. These are a few of my favorite things: TRAVEL-backpack, poverty-jet-set style or Volun-tourism (of course) - I like to keep a low profile and really meet and mingle with locals, Indie films, Indie music, theatre, art shows, local band concerts, books, vintage art, light existentialism with a dash of humanism, wine tastings

Can you keep up ~ but know when to slow down and enjoy life - smell the proverbial roses, eat slowly and enjoy quality not quantity, sunshine, bird's songs and nature's symphony.... Do you appreciate, cherish, nurture what you have ~ life, freedom, your health? Positivity and laughter have resuscitated me from the darkest times. Do you feel the same? Do you realize there is more out there than violence, retribution, materialism - like love, epicuriosity, culture, art, intellectual stimulation... Then we could hang. Life is worth living, not regretting. Also, I am a very real person and would only expect the same of anyone contacting me.
