dream of things i WANT! walk proud skip thru puddles twirl with laughter to be lost somewhere between butterflies and daydreams? is life upside down? or perhaps i?m standing on my head? my mother sometimes tells of a toddler digging dirt, barefoot? in winter i don sox when polished toes peak thru, they are knotted for my girlie (dog) transformed to toys of plenty i luv hip-hop and blues live in jeans unmaterialistic would do well in burlap smoke and unwind daily with a cab or pino hammock lounging awakened in curiosity a restless thought is stirred? laughing again? what do i know? no moments of truth no revelations just my thoughts... triggered by sensory cues a treasury built... on memory or touch a sight or sound a smell or taste a feeling however slight and voila imagination engaged heart races with a quickening beat oblivious to the reason? sometimes i hold still letting it pass, othertimes i buy shoes! living to experience and loving to live to feel is proof a memory taken, future reflection? such as my grandson, head snuggled against my chest his perfect hands grip my shirts neckline his ear settled on my heart knowing it?s beat is his peace
