I have an adventurous spirit and love discovering new things. A good sense of humor is very important to me and there is nothing I love more than a good laugh. I spend a lot of time outdoors and go camping with my son and our dog as often as possible. Yes, in a tent! I lived in California for a little over ten years, but moved back to my home state of South Carolina in 2002 to take care of my Mom until she died this past May. During that time I rediscovered my love of writing and am now in the process of becoming published in the children's market. I've always been a single mom, so dating has been difficult for me. Apparently, "Mr. Right" is not attending our PTO meetings! I'm a very casual person who loves a good intellectual debate from time to time. I campaigned for Obama and like to volunteer my time for causes that are important to me. I take my son along most everywhere and he is the center and light of my life. We have a great time together and I would love to share our lives with someone special. In my ideal world, we'd have a place in the country with tons of animals and travel to exotic locations, toasting our happiness at every opportunity!

Understand that this is an ideal representation, but I am flexible on all of it, or most of it....the main thing is that you are comfortable in your own skin and are generally a happy person. Let's see...You are tall, love great conversation, are educated but not stuffy, have a sense of humor, are financially stable, non-judgemental, a bit aggressive, definately sensual,flexible when you need to be, you love travel but like staying home too, considerate and kind, love kids (mine especially!), you like to hold hands and kiss and you don't mind when I need a little time on my own. You are trusting and trustworthy and you operate from a sense of integrity. You are at a point where you truly want to share your life and have grown beyond superficial relationships. That's a good start!
