I am a working woman, recently widowed, who is trying to enjoy each and every day to the fullest. I have learned you can't depend on another person to fulfill your happiness. But it is very nice to share the good times and the bad with another person, that is if the other person is the right one. And the world can be a very harsh place sometimes... I keep my life meaningful by participating in community service and staying very active. Finding someone special, someday, might be wonderful. Probably an internet site is an unrealistic location for such an undertaking; but who knows? At present, I am only asking to find a man to share some fun times. I am a very energetic person. I love to dance. And I will dance to most any music that moves me. I am currently taking ballet and tap dance classes. I usually am the oldest in my classes, but I keep up and have a great time. I have taken a little latin jazz and swing dancing and would love to do more partner dancing. I enjoy going out to eat. I love walking and hiking anywhere. I am a nature and animal lover. And I absolutely love old movies! :) I have taken up fly fishing recently. I have found it to be a very serene, meditative sport. And I enjoy hiking, birding and a bit of cross-country skiing.(I do fall a lot, so experienced skiiers please be patient! :) Originally from Chicago, my late husband relocated us to a small town in northern MI. This quiet community is a huge difference from the bustling city of my childhood. But I truly love it. New growth forests surround my home, so I spend a lot of spare time feeding and watching the wildlife that coexist around me. The only drawback to living "up north", is it is difficult to meet people here... I have found that life can be rough some times, but laughter cures everything! I want a match who is intelligent, kind and funny. I would like a guy who treats me well, is of sound mind and body, has no addictions, and is generous in spirit.

An intelligent, funny, attractive man who has no addictions and is healthy(both physically and mentally please :). He must be an animal lover, especially cats, and be a giver, not a taker.
