I'm not big on selling myself in an ad, I'd much rather have a coffee or drink and talk. But that isn't an option here. So as a first step towards that, here goes: I am a positive person who believes that having balance in life is important to happiness - I work hard, but keep work in perspective and "don't sweat the small stuff". On weekends I usually go do something in the area or hang out with friends. I live in DC and there's always something walking distance down on the Mall. I like meeting new people, hearing different points-of-view and to try and look at something from a new perspective. I like trying new and different things (insert the usual lists here e. g. skiing, scuba certified, biking, beaches, museums, mountains, ...) and I also like quiet time to myself. I've done quite a bit of traveling and I'm up for a lot more. In the last few years I've been on vacation to Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and Hawaii. I guess there's a theme there... I love Live music, dark chocolate, light rain, colbert report, curb your enthusiasm, cirque du soleil, hains point, night sky, thunderstorms, red wine etc. It's the company, and not the event, that make something worthwhile. I?m up for anything w/ the right person. I am secure, always looking to improve, and look for the best in people. Some of the simplest and most basics things are what matter the most. Staying in shape at the gym is important to me. I rowed crew in college and have tried to stay fit ever since. I run, or at least walk, a few times a week and keep a healthy diet.

I?m looking for someone who I can?t wait to see and talk to; it?s hard to define the specifics- it?s both physical and psychological; it?s more of something that you know once you?ve found. I would enjoy getting to know someone who shares some similar interests, while at the same time having their own that I can share in. My ideal match would be someone who is active, physically fit, lives a healthy lifestyle, enjoys and is happy with the job that she does.
