With my children now grown, I find myself focusing on romance and who I would like to share the best years of my life with. I am missing that one very important ingredient - the love of my life. I am ready and looking to find that wonderful man whom I can share an unbelievable relationship with for the rest of my life. Me? I would say I'm generous, loyal, hard-working, romantic and sensual, playful (with a little bit of a wild side), spontaneous, adventurous, confident, optimistic, outgoing and independent, and I am a one-man woman. I am open and honest and don't play games. I also have a GREAT sense of humor and love to laugh. I even have to laugh at myself now and then! I could describe myself as being somewhat of a 'chameleon'.....I can garden and play in the dirt, enjoy a Twins game in my jersey and baseball cap cheering the team on, attend a formal affair in black velvet and pearls, climbing and hiking in boots, or riding on the back of a Harley with the wind blowing through my hair. I can be feminine and soft, yet I can also be a tom-boy; the all-American girl with mid-Western values. Some of the MANY things I enjoy are: a warm fire (with you and a great glass of wine, of course!), gardening and yard work, biking, camping, walking, exercising, cooking and entertaining, baseball, dancing, boating/sailing, surprises, spending time with family and friends, my dog, the beach, jazz & the oldies, theatre and traveling - and I even like to fish! I'm game for just about anything, and there certainly are many things I haven't done and would really enjoy trying. I love kissing, intimacy, affection, holding hands and just snuggling and being close. When it comes to food, I love fish and seafood, Mexican and Italian foods, as well as simple home-cooked meals. I eat pretty healthy most of the time, but have been known to give in to that occasional Oreo or dish of ice cream. Being a couch potato is not my style, but I do watch an occasional TV program. I like CSI and NCIS, and I got somewhat hooked on '24.' Life has thrown several curve balls my way, and I've learned first-hand that life can be way too short. I've come to appreciate life even more than I did before, and I don't intend on missing a beat. The gentleman I want in my life is warm, caring, open, honest, moral, has integrity, can share his thoughts and feelings, and is confident in himself. He must be attractive to me, and that all-important attraction should be there. He will be my best friend, lover, confidant, and he should want to be as excited to be with me as I am him. He should enjoy life, the outdoors, long walks, cuddling, candlelit dinners, holding hands, a good backrub, a warm fire on a cold or rainy day, etc., etc. Oh, and did I say cuddling and holding hands? Perfection, of course, is NOT a requirement. I'm not sure there is a 'perfect' match for us, since none of us are perfect. I know I'm not! But I do believe there is someone out there for each of us, someone special who shares our similar likes, dislikes, morals and ideals, and I know there is someone out there whom I would love to spend my life with. I don't NEED a man in my life, as I can certainly take care of myself, but it sure would be nice to find that special someone!!
