I'm an uncomplicated, well adjusted, normal, independent lady who loves to laugh and enjoy each day of life. I'm emotional, adventurous, enthusiastic, romantic and optimistic. I'm 64, my photos are current, no lies, no misdirections and no photos from high school! All my so-called "baggage" is packed and stored away. First married at 18, two kids by the time I was 21, divorced at 27 ... remarried at 31 and lived a happy, fun life for the next part of my life with a great guy. In 2002 my husband died after a long battle with cancer ... my heart was broken and another phase of my life was beginning. I moved from Los Angeles to Carlsbad in 2004 and haven't looked back. I love it in this lovely little beach town, I've made new friends and now live in my cute little house with me 3 cats and little dog who provide nothing but love and laughter to my life. My kids are grown, highly educated, employed and happy. My son lives in Seatte and my daughter is in San Diego. They have blessed me with 3 darling, bright, adorable grandsons ... and I love being a grandma! In 2007 I bought a brand new 16-ft. Scamp travel trailer and my little dog and I took a round-the-country trip, 30 days and 8,539 miles of one adventure after another. I'm hoping to head off in June to August sometime this coming summer of 2009 and I can't wait to hit the road again. Boiled down - I'm a happy, cheerful lady with an independent streak, with a lust for life and living. I know how to love and be loved, and if I'm lucky enough to find that "chemistry" thing with the right man, I will be romantic, sexy and very passionate too.
