When it comes to leading a good life, the Golden Rule is a good place to start. So I give kindness and respect whether speaking to a service worker or a CEO. Mom nurtured my compassionate side, Dad taught me how to compete, and they both taught me to follow my dreams. I thrive on being the ?cool uncle?. I consider friends ?family that we choose? and I love to show everyone a good time: screening ?Jaws? at a pool party, anyone? Sometimes margaritas on the patio can become an impromptu trip to Vegas. Other times are better served by simply grilling up some great fillets and enjoying a glass of Cabernet. My life is full and fulfilling, including a job I truly love. I can be alone without being lonely. I don?t need a relationship to ?complete me?. At the same time, being in a happy, healthy relationship gives my life added joy and purpose. If we fall in love, I will always be courting you and not take our relationship for granted. I will hold you close at all times, and even when we are apart, will consider your needs and well-being with my thoughts and actions. And, as two complete people, we will be stronger together than we are apart.

Whatever you?re doing, you make it fun. We can go to the Hollywood Bowl for concerts, entertain at home, and go to birthday parties for our friends? kids and you do it all effortlessly and with a smile on your face. Yet sometimes it?s even more fun when it?s just the two of us. Even though we can?t cuddle all night, we still sleep with our feet touching because we can?t stand to be apart. You are passionate about life and about our relationship. You leave romantic notes where you know I will find them to show me you?re thinking of me. You are patient with me as I stumble through Tango lessons we decide to take, and delight in planning a trip to Buenos Aires to show off what we?ve learned. You know how to rock a great pair of jeans, or a sexy dress, but it?s really your energy and what radiates from inside that makes you so amazing. There?s something about you, a sparkle in your eye, a knowing smile that draws people to you. And though the care we take of ourselves and each other will keep us young for a long, long time, you make the idea of growing old seem so amazing, since we will do it together.
