I like to spend a lot of time outdoors. My favorite activities are hiking in the mountains and photography. I love animals (never met a critter I didn't like). I'd rather be alone with someone I'm close to, than in a large group. I like all kinds of music. I have a good career and love what I do. I'm open minded and pretty easy to get along with. I'm really wide open to various personality types. My experience is that I never really know who I'll get along with until we spend some time together. I have kind of a romantic notion of what a relationship should be like, and am looking for just the right person who I can be really close with. Travel: I love the desert Southwest. Southern Utah and Arizona are awesome! Also I'd like to get back to Cancun again. I love good dark chocolate. Taking macro pictures of various critters is a lot of fun.

Ultimately, I'm looking for a serious relationship. Friends are nice, and just dating is okay, but I prefer someone who is also looking for something long-term. Looking for a woman to enjoy life and have fun with. I'd like to find a gal who likes to be taken care of but not pampered. For me, being a good dad is a priority and something I try to do well. I believe any strong relationship is based on friendship, passion, and communication. Also knowing that life has its ups and downs; keeping a positive attitude (and a healthy dose of laughter) is key to getting through the rough times. Being open and honest is important, but so is striving to learn and experience new things.
