I would consider myself to be a very simple ("low maintenance" in male terms!), easy-going person who enjoys the simple things in life. I am one of those people that nothing ever seems to bring them down. I am pretty much always in a good mood...always cracking a joke to make someone smile/laugh. Now, don't get me wrong, I am not perfect (far from it!)...I do have my moments (especially when I am on the road w/ bad drivers who don't have a clue!) and have a few "quirks" as well (as we all do)... but most of the time I am a pretty free-spirited / carefree person! I am a huge sports fanatic...my biggest vice in life is kicking back w/ a few beers while watching ball games (baseball, football, basketball mostly). (I am a die hard STL Cardinals and Indy COLTS fan!!) Another big vice would be shooting pool... although I must admit I am getting a bit rusty. (Busy schedule = decreased pool playing time!) I believe in working hard and playing even harder. I also believe that TIME is more important than MONEY (although I do know the value of a buck!). I would also consider myself to be a hopeless romantic...but a realistic as well. I will admit that I HAVE dreamt of some knight riding up on a big, white horse and sweeping me off of my feet and carrying me off into the sunset where we would then live happily ever after. Of course, then reality sets in and tells me that not only will this never happen but that such a story doesn't even in fact exist!! I still remain hopeful (hopeless??) nonetheless!! :) I guess what I am looking for, and hope to find eventually, is a life-long best friend/companion to talk with, laugh with, cuddle with and grow old with. My ultimate "goal" is to find my soul mate and have 50 years of "happily ever after" with him. Yes, I KNOW I am not a spring chicken anymore...which makes that 50 yr goal even MORE of a challenge...and I LOVE challenges. :)~

I am looking for an easy going, honest/loyal, intelligent male who is a good listener and communicator and who can make me laugh....who I can spend 50 years with... (How hard can THAT me?) :) I am NOT into those people who play games or try to be someone they are not. I guess to be more specific, I like outgoingness, but not obnoxiousness...assertiveness, but not aggressiveness...confidence, but not cockiness...intelligence, but not Mr. Know-it-All's...wittiness, but not crudenss..."charmers", but not "players". I welcome compromise, but will not tolerate orders/demands. I am looking for a man who understands that cuddling is more initmate than having sex. I want someone to be my "biggest fan," but not be obessive or possesive (NO STALKERS, PLEASE!). I am also looking for a man who has a balance between being old fashioned and respecting a woman's independence/individuality! Lastly (?), I want to the be the 1st thing that he thinks of in the morning an dthe last thing that he thinks of at night! (Can you handle all of that??) :)~
