I am a very outgoing, down-to-earth, caring person. I was raised in North Carolina and have lived in Maine for 2 years now. I feel as though I am at a cross road in my life. I enjoy going out and having a good time, but have found the bar/club scene a bit redundant. It is not the quantity of people that we meet but the quality that is important. I have high expectations of myself as well as others. I do not pretend to be something I am not. I am very much at a point in my life where I am hoping to meet that special someone, the only thing that I ask and expect is honesty. I would rather be hurt by the truth than embarrassed by a lie. I am a hopeless romantic, and feel that it is very much a two-way street in any relationship. I am adventurous and when I can be I love spontaneity. Life is too short not to put yourself out there. Because the one time you take a chance, you just might be surprised. No one accomplishes anything sitting home alone, no matter how much you may hope and dream. So with all that said....Here I am, taking a crazy chance on fate!!

I would love to meet a man that is goal-oriented, fun & charismatic but down-to-earth. I don't think one's success should override a person's character. I am most interested in loyalty, honesty, and respect. A person that treats those around him with the respect that he himself would expect in return. I would like to avoid anyone who is comfortable playing the field, and I am more interested in meeting a man who knows exactly where he is at and what he wants in life. Someone who is comfortable from where he came from and proud of where he is at and how he got there.
